What is the On-Track Compliance Members Portal?
The portal is one login for your Canadian safety program. It stores your safety manual, tracks worker certificates and their expiry dates, organises training records, and prepares you for your COR or SECOR audit. A Cross-framework Evidence Map and a Safety Advisor that finds the right section of your manual are in development. Available on any device through the browser or as a mobile app.
Who is the portal built for?
Canadian operators with 1 to 200 employees in construction, oil and gas, transportation, manufacturing, healthcare, and trades. Owner-operators and small-team safety managers without dedicated full-time safety staff. The portal covers nine provinces (AB, BC, SK, MB, ON, NB, NS, PEI, NL) and pre-loads element codes for every major certifying partner in each province.
How does the portal work alongside our existing tools?
The portal holds the safety program documentation. It does not replace daily-forms tools like SiteDocs (FLHAs, vehicle pre-trips, equipment checks) or project management tools like Procore or Aconex. Most operators run the portal as the program-level workspace alongside SiteDocs for the daily field-forms layer. We are a SiteDocs reseller through Digital Safety Forms if you need that piece too.
When does the portal launch?
The portal is in a private pilot with a small group of On-Track clients. Custom Safety Manual clients get early access as it opens, and direct subscriptions follow; join the waitlist to hear first.
What are the tiers and what is included at each?
Three tiers built on one system. Foundation covers the core workspace: Document Vault, Compliance Dashboard, Compliance Scheduler, OHS Legislation Feed, Worker Certificate Tracker, Worker Orientations, Province Comparison, and mobile access. Compliance adds the Document Builder (5 drafts a month), the Audit-prep Workspace, and Share-with-Auditor. Authority adds Photo Hazard Check and raises the Document Builder to 20 drafts a month. Planned and not yet built: the Safety Advisor, the Cross-framework Evidence Map (Foundation), the Annual Program Review (Compliance), and the Multi-year Audit Findings Trend (Authority). Pricing is announced closer to launch - join the waitlist to see it first.
How is the portal different from VelocityEHS, SiteDocs, or a standalone LMS?
VelocityEHS Accelerate is built for enterprise EHS departments at large North American employers. SiteDocs is daily field-forms software for FLHAs, pre-trips, and inspections. Standalone LMS platforms focus on course delivery and training records. The On-Track Compliance Portal sits in a different lane: it is the program-level workspace for the safety manual, certificates, audit-prep workspace, automatic document drafting, and recurring compliance scheduling for Canadian operators of 1 to 200 employees. A Cross-framework Evidence Map across Canadian certifying partners is planned.
Can I share documentation with an external auditor?
Yes, from the Compliance tier. Share-with-Auditor creates a read-only link that shows your auditor your audit-prep evidence by element, and optionally where each document sits in your program, with an expiry date you set and the option to revoke it at any time. Foundation does not include it.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your Custom Safety Manual files are yours to keep - the manual is your property. Direct subscriptions have not opened yet, so there is no cancellation to describe today; how cancelling and data retention work will be set out in the subscription terms before they open. Our current Terms of Service are posted at on-tracksafety.com/legal/terms.
How do I get started before the public launch?
Join the waitlist with the form at the bottom of this page. Everyone on the waitlist gets an email with a sign-up link the day direct subscriptions open. If you are buying a Custom Safety Manual from On-Track Safety Solutions, you get early access as the portal opens. Talk to a safety advisor if you want a live walkthrough before subscribing.
Is the portal a learning management system or a course platform?
No. Course delivery, completion certificates, and grading live in our separate Corporate Training Portal. The Compliance Members Portal stores the certificates and tracks renewals, it does not deliver the courses. Use the Corporate Training Portal for course delivery and the Compliance Members Portal for the program documentation that sits alongside it.
Does the portal replace a qualified safety officer or auditor?
No. The audit-prep workspace organises evidence and the Document Builder drafts documents for your review. A qualified safety officer is still the one who walks the worksite, makes the call on a hazard, and signs off on a finding. An auditor still scores against the protocol. Engage On-Track Field Safety for on-site coverage if you need someone in person.
Does the portal replace Procore, Aconex, or our project management tool?
No. Daily project administration like drawings, RFIs, submittals, and schedules lives in your project tools. The Compliance Members Portal holds the safety program documentation that runs alongside the project, not the project itself. Keep your existing project management stack and pair it with the portal.
Does the portal replace SiteDocs or a daily-forms field app?
No. FLHAs, vehicle pre-trips, and equipment checks happen in the field every day. We resell SiteDocs through Digital Safety Forms for that layer. The portal stores the safety manual, certificates, and audit-prep workspace that sit alongside. Most operators run the portal as the program-level workspace and SiteDocs as the daily-forms layer.
