Our story
Built on the ground. Written to hold up.
On-Track Safety Solutions started in 2008. The business grew out of years spent working as a safety officer in the field - walking sites, writing incident reports, and watching operators get stuck with safety programs that looked fine on paper but fell apart the moment an auditor walked in. The gap between what companies said their program was and what it actually showed when tested was, almost always, a documentation problem.
The first clients were small operators - a handful of workers, a prime contractor asking for a certificate, a safety binder that needed to actually say something. From there the work expanded: COR audits for larger construction and energy operators, contractor pre-qualification management for companies drowning in ISNet and ComplyWorks submissions, safety manuals built to survive an external audit rather than collect dust.
The partner who has run audit observations and documentation for 17+ years joined early and has been part of every major engagement since. ACSA certification came with the first wave of construction COR audits. ESC certification followed as the oil and gas side of the work grew. SECOR audit coordination expanded the offering to the small operators who needed a certificate but did not have the volume for full COR.
Today On-Track handles custom safety manuals, COR and SECOR audits, contractor pre-qualification management across ISNet, ComplyWorks, Avetta, and CanQual, online training through a white-label corporate portal, digital safety forms through SiteDocs, and an annual Compliance Subscription that keeps manual clients current without rebuilding from scratch each year. The team is small by design. Debra coordinates contractor management and SECOR engagements. Vickie keeps the books. The audit and manual work stays close to the principals who built the certifications.
The operating philosophy has not changed since 2008: plain language, audit-grade evidence, no compliance theatre. If a supervisor cannot open the manual and find what they need, the manual is not finished. If the audit submission does not hold up under a certifying partner's review, the engagement is not done. The paper trail either holds up or it does not. On-Track's job is to make sure it does.

On-Track holds current external auditor certification from ACSA and ESC. No certifying-partner logos are displayed here - we name the bodies we work with, but we do not carry their marks as marketing. That separation is what keeps the audit relationship clean.
Cross-framework coverage
One safety program. Multiple certifying frameworks.
Most operators need to satisfy more than one framework at once - ACSA COR for the provincial certification, ESC COR for the prime contractor, and an ISNet RAVS score for pre-qualification. The program elements overlap significantly, but the evidence requirements differ.
On-Track builds safety programs and audits them with both ACSA and ESC certification. That cross-framework view means we know exactly which documents and records satisfy which program element under which protocol - without the guesswork or the re-work.
