A compliance-ready acknowledgement form for workers to sign on completion. Names the orientation, the date, and the site. Ready to file.

Provincial Legislation References

Regulatory references specific to the province the operation is in - OHS Act, Regulation, and Code citations as applicable. Keeps the document current and defensible.

Editable Word Source Files

The full orientation delivered as an editable Word document alongside the PDF. Update it as the operation changes, the site expands, or new prime contractor requirements come in.

The orientation is written from scratch to the actual worksite and province - not adapted from a generic base. The training matrix and supervisor leader guide are built at the same time.

Step 03

Client Review

The draft is sent for review. One round of revisions is included. We address any corrections, additions, or operational details that need adjusting before finalising.

Final Deliverables

The completed orientation package is delivered as a finalised PDF plus editable Word source files. Ready to print, distribute, and use on day one.

Can new workers complete the orientation online?
Yes. With our online safety orientation, new workers complete it through our portal and each completion is recorded, so you have proof they finished it before they reached site. For an orientation that shows your own people and sites, the custom video safety orientation is built from your safety manual, with a one-day video and photo shoot at your operation, narrated audio and knowledge checks.
How much does a custom orientation cost?
An online safety orientation through our portal is $550, or a custom video safety orientation built from your own manual, with a one-day video and photo shoot at your operation, is $3,675, plus GST. Site-specific orientation documents and curriculum packages are quoted to the site.
How is a custom orientation different from a generic template?
A generic orientation covers broad safety topics that apply to any worksite. A custom orientation is written to a specific site, operation, and province. It names the actual hazards present, references the legislation that applies, lists the PPE required for that site, and documents the emergency procedures in place. Workers who complete it have information they can actually use.
What does the finished deliverable include?
Each orientation package includes a 25-40 page site-specific orientation document, a training matrix showing which topics apply to which worker roles, a supervisor leader guide, and a worker sign-off form. Delivered as a finalised PDF plus editable Word source files so the client can update the document as the operation changes.
How long does it take to build?
Typical turnaround is 5-10 business days from the completed intake. More complex orientations covering multiple worksites or multiple jurisdictions may take up to two weeks. We confirm the timeline at intake before starting.
Which provinces do you cover?
Custom orientations are available for operations in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. Each document is written to the legislation, regulatory references, and certifying partner requirements for the province the operation is in.
Can we use the orientation for multiple sites?
Yes, with revisions. The editable Word source is included in the package so you can adapt the base document for additional sites. If the sites are substantially different - different hazards, different provinces, different prime contractor requirements - a separate custom build for each site produces a cleaner result.
Do you build orientations that meet prime contractor requirements?
Yes. If the operation works under a specific prime contractor and has written orientation requirements from that prime, share them during intake. The orientation is built to meet those requirements in addition to the provincial regulatory baseline.

After delivery

A custom orientation is not a Word file emailed once and forgotten. Every orientation bundles optional Compliance Members Portal access, and the full six-part package lands in your document vault on delivery day.
