What is SCORM, and why does it matter for safety training?
SCORM is the common standard that lets an online course run inside a learning management system (LMS). A SCORM course loads into your LMS like any other module, and it reports each learner's progress, score and completion back to your system. For safety training that means your records stay in one place instead of being split between your LMS and an outside training site.
Which delivery option is right for us?
If you already run an LMS and need one or a few courses, a SCORM course file is usually the simplest. If you do not have an LMS, or want a ready-made training site for your team, a hosted training portal is the better fit. If you plan to run many courses through your LMS long term, a full integration keeps everything connected. Tell us about your setup and we will recommend one.
How is it priced?
Every project is quoted individually. The price depends on the courses you choose, how many learners need them, and the delivery option that suits your system. Course seats are priced lower when bought in volume. Send us your headcount and the courses you are interested in and we will put a clear breakdown together.
Are the courses available across Canada?
Many are. Courses such as Defensive Driving and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) are built for use in every province. Some courses are province-specific by design, for example demerit-reduction driving programs. We confirm Canada-wide availability for every course before we quote.
Can our team preview a course before we commit?
Yes. We can set up preview access so your training, health and safety, and operations leads can review the full course before you decide. Just send us the names and email addresses of the reviewers.
Do learners still get a certificate?
Completion and score data report back to your LMS, and certificates can be issued from there. For regulated topics such as TDG, remember that the employer issues each worker's certificate of training under the regulations, so keep the course record on file alongside it.
How long does setup take?
It depends on the option. A single course file can often be ready within days of your go-ahead. A full integration takes longer because it involves your LMS administrator. We give you a realistic timeline with the quote.
