How much do formal hazard assessments cost?
Essentials covers up to 10 tasks for $995. Standard covers up to 20 tasks for $1,495. Extra tasks are $59 each. The Hazard and Competency Program is $2,495. Prices are plus GST.
What is in each hazard assessment?
The steps of the task, the hazards at each step marked safety or health, a severity and likelihood rating with the overall risk for every hazard, and engineering, administrative and PPE controls. It is built on our approved assessment for the task and changed to match your answers.
Who at our company should answer the questions?
The people who do the work or fully understand it: the owner, a supervisor or a lead hand. You can send any single task to the person who does it; they answer on their phone with no login.
Can we edit the assessments?
Yes. You can suggest a change on any line while you review, and every finished assessment downloads as a Word document you can edit.
How often do they need to be reviewed?
Each assessment shows a review date one year after it is approved, and sooner if the task, equipment or site changes. Yearly upkeep ($399 a year) covers the review, new tasks as your work changes, and keeping your portal register current.
Do these count for a COR or SECOR audit?
Formal hazard assessments are a required part of a COR and SECOR program. Ours rate every hazard by severity and likelihood and list controls in the order the audit expects. An audit scores what your people actually do, so the assessments need to be reviewed with your crew and used.
