What is included in a free corporate training account?

A free corporate account gives your company a dedicated portal location under the On-Track Safety platform. You can add workers, assign courses, and view all certificate completions from one place. As a welcome offer, corporate account holders receive 20% off all courses for the first three months using a custom coupon code. After three months, the permanent discount code ONTRACK10 applies for 10% off all purchases.

How long does it take to complete a course?

Course durations range from 15 minutes (short awareness-level modules) to a full day (Leadership for Safety Excellence). Most practical courses fall between 45 minutes and 3 hours. Duration is shown on every course listing so workers can plan around their shift.

Are the certificates recognised across Canada?

Certificate recognition depends on the specific course and the province or employer requiring it. Most awareness and regulatory courses are accepted nationally. Province-specific courses (such as Alberta Hours of Service or Ground Disturbance 201) are designed for the regulatory environment they name. Always confirm with your certifying partner or prime contractor that the specific course meets their requirements before purchasing.

Can workers complete training on a phone or tablet?

Yes. The portal is fully mobile-responsive. Workers on remote sites with cell coverage can complete courses on any smartphone or tablet. Certificates are stored in the portal and can be downloaded or emailed immediately upon completion.

Is H2S online training acceptable for Alberta oil and gas worksites?

No. Online H2S awareness courses cover the hazards and detection principles and are useful for orientation and general awareness. They do not replace H2S Alive, which is the physical certification required for working in H2S environments on Alberta oil and gas sites. If your workers need H2S Alive certification, that must be completed in person through an approved provider.

What is the difference between the training portal and the On-Track Compliance Portal?

The training portal is where workers purchase and complete safety courses. The On-Track Compliance Portal is a separate platform that manages your entire safety program, including your safety manual, contractor pre-qualification tracking, AI Safety Advisor, and compliance scheduling. Many clients use both: the training portal to deliver and track worker training, and the Compliance Portal to manage the broader safety program. Worker certificates from the training portal feed directly into the Compliance Portal training matrix.
