- Yes. We serve operators across Western Canada — Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Safety manuals, contractor management, and online training are delivered remotely for any province. COR audits are conducted under the applicable provincial certifying partner's protocol.
- Are COR programs the same in all Western Canadian provinces?
- No. Each province has its own COR program administered by different certifying partners. Alberta has ACSA, ESC, and AASP. BC has BCCSA and industry-specific partners. Saskatchewan has SCSA. The audit protocols, pass thresholds, and certifying partner relationships differ by province. We navigate these differences for our clients.
- Can you build a safety manual that works across multiple provinces?
- Yes. We build multi-province safety manuals for companies operating across AB, BC, SK, and MB. These manuals address the OHS legislative requirements for each province the company operates in and are structured so the certifying partner's provincial reviewer can confirm compliance in their province without having to filter through the other provinces' content.
- Do all Western Canadian provinces have a WCB rebate for COR-certified companies?
- Yes, though the programs differ. Alberta's PIR program pays up to 20% of WCB premiums for COR and up to 15% for SECOR. BC's WorkSafeBC has the Certificate of Recognition incentive. Saskatchewan's WCB has the Safety Incentive Rebate Program. Manitoba WCB has comparable programs. Verify current rates and qualifying conditions with the applicable provincial WCB.
