Why crews use it

  • Covers the equipment no specific tag exists for
  • The defect column makes a reported problem visible to the next operator
  • The QR can open the pre-use checklist, so the tag teaches the check
  • One product covers a mixed fleet instead of a tag per machine type

Where to use it

  • Compactors, generators, pumps, light towers and attachments
  • Shop tools and yard equipment on a pre-use check
  • Rental equipment arriving on site

Why it matters

Most pre-use inspection programmes fail on the equipment nobody assigned a form to. A general tag with a defect column means the check happens and the defect gets seen, which is the whole point of the programme.

Common questions

Before you buy

What people ask us about the Equipment Pre-Use Inspection Tag.

Is the Equipment Pre-Use Inspection Tag shipped, or is it a download?

This is a physical product. The booklets are printed and shipped to you across Canada - unlike our document products, there is nothing to download. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the total weight of everything in your order, so adding more to the same order costs less than ordering twice.

Can we have our company logo printed on them?

Not on this item. Some of our printed products take a logo upload at checkout - if you need this one branded, call us on 1-800-440-6650 and we will tell you what is possible.

How much is shipping?

It is worked out at checkout from the total weight of your order and where it is going, so there is no flat fee to guess at. Ordering everything together is always cheaper than placing separate orders.

Does using these satisfy an audit requirement on its own?

No. A completed booklet is evidence that the check was done and by whom, which is what an auditor asks to see - but it only carries weight when the written program behind it says the check is required and how often. If that program does not exist yet, that is the part we write.

From the team that wrote it

A tag proves the inspection happened. The program says it had to.

Auditors sample equipment records, then ask for the written program that required them. We write the program the tags are evidence for.
