About the course
What this course covers.
Most WCB courses teach the theory of claims management. This one is built around the practical, day-one thought process: what to do the moment a potential workplace injury or illness is reported, and how to manage it from there.
It works through the true goal of claims management, the formula behind a successful WCB claim, responding to and reporting a potential claim, and managing different types of injuries - including negotiating and monitoring a worker on modified duties.
The course is taught by Anthony Butkovic, President of WCB Consulting, who has spent the past 10 years training employers to manage and appeal WCB claims without the theoretical padding many courses rely on.
