Entry, monitor or awareness - which confined space course?
Confined space training splits by what you will actually do. Entering a space, standing as the attendant outside it, and simply needing to recognise one are three different requirements, and the awareness course is not a substitute for the entry course.

What actually separates them
- Entry and Monitor is the full course for people going in and the people watching them.
- Awareness is for workers who need to recognise a confined space and stay out of it.
- There is an Alberta-specific version.
- Confined space work also needs a written entry procedure, rescue plan and atmospheric monitoring. The course does not create those. If your programme does not have them, phone us.
