A worker who does not understand electrical hazards, or who trusts equipment that should have been checked, can be injured or killed before they know anything is wrong. This course gives workers the knowledge to recognise electrical hazards and work safely around them.
The course covers an introduction to electrical safety, the general construction standard, and safe operations around electricity. It works through the equipment involved, the electrical hazards a worker faces, and the emergency care for someone involved in an electrical incident. Quiz questions throughout prepare the worker for the final written exam.
