About the course

What this course covers.

Psychological safety is linked to physical safety, and mental health is the leading cause of short and long-term disability - which is why prevention in the workplace matters. This program gives workers practical, evidence-based strategies to manage stress, worry, and low moods before they take a worker out of the game.

The program runs through six modules. A worker learns to tune in through mindfulness and self-reflection, to understand how the body and mind are connected, to identify unhelpful thoughts, and to develop new and more helpful ones. It then teaches how to keep calm through relaxation and regulation skills and coping strategies, and finishes on the power of practice and repeating the new skills. It uses animations, live video, audio, worksheets, and interactive exercises, and was developed by experts in the mental health field.

Companies use the program to give workers prevention-focused mental health training and to support a psychological health and safety program in the workplace.

  • We brought this in because psychological safety belongs in the safety program, not beside it. The module-a-week pace is what makes the skills actually stick.

    Andrea M.

    Health and Safety Manager

  • Practical, not preachy. The mind-body connection module gave our crew a way to talk about stress that did not feel like a lecture.

    Cliff R.

    Operations Supervisor

  • Well built, with worksheets and exercises that get used. A genuine prevention tool rather than an awareness slideshow.
