The purpose of this Cranes, Hoists and Lifting Devices Safety Program is to outline the hazards and procedures for safe operations and training requirements regarding cranes, hoistsand lifting devices.
 
Assists in ensuring compliance with part 6 of the Alberta OHS code.  This program  applies to all employees who operate overhead cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment in the scope of their job duties and assignments. Cranes, Hoists and Lifting Devices is regulated under Alberta Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Code, Part 6.
 
This Alberta Cranes Hoists and Lifting Devices Program is designed to pass Industry Standards, COR, SECOR, ComplyWorks, OHS and ISNetworld ® RAVS ® requirements for Cranes, Hoists and Lifting Devices - Canada – AB. 
 
All documentation is emailed to you in word format, so that it can be easily edited and your company’s name and logo can be inserted.  If any safety program comes back as not being accepted by one of the above mentioned services or if their requirements change at any time during the next year please let us know and we will redo this program for you at no additional cost.
